Useful talk. New Xdebug features are very interesting.
the new features are interesting, but the talk doesn't really get into depth there. I'd rather have a "Future of xdebug" talk
Really good to see what things you can do with xdebug! Also good to hear about what other cool projecta Derick is working on.
Lot of future features with no clear dates or howto's.

Interesting talk.
Good talk, but maybe not deep enough.
Interesting talk about the history and ambitions of someone that is passionate to help others make their lives easier debugging code. I use Xdebug with debugging interactively with PhpStorm, and it really helps me out when shit just gets too complicated to debug with the lazy vardumps :) Admire your work and it was nice to see the face behind the project. If you're interested in the thoughts behind the Xdebug project, and wouldn't mind to learn a bit more about some newer, less known and future features I would really recommend this talk. Nice presentation of new features and refreshment of what xdebug is capable of! Though not really accurate description of what to expect.. or expectations were set higher than information received, in short, the talk could go more deeper into other debuggers.
excellent talk, didn't know Derick before, but was really interested in the subject itself. Although it was a bit chaotic in my opinion I really liked the information provided. Ways to have an even better presentation next time: make a nice agenda and have a 'theme' (i was missing 'de rode draad' and I experienced it a bit chaotic). Also focus on one part of the different functionalities of the tool (Xdebug) might be a better idea, then you can go deeper and don't need to spent time on all other functionalities and use cases the tool has.
Should have been called "XDebug: past, present and future". But quite useful nonetheless! :)

I'm using xdebug extensively, but still learned a thing or two about some features I didn't know existed. Some feedback about the idea to "step back" in debugging: How about being able to replay execution up to the previous breakpoint instead?
usefull, saw some xdebug features that i definitly will use in my day to day job.
