I got back from the PHP conference in Budapest. It was a nice event, and very well organised. Besides that, Budapest is also a very nice city .

Two airlines, two different approaches to a full flight and lots of hand luggage:
BA: Anyone in zone 4-9 needs to check in, even if you're having an unsuitable backpack and you have to carry your laptop, charging cables, camara, kindle, power bank in your hands onto the plane.
KLM: We ask you to check your luggage, but if you don't want to, and it's not ridiculously large, it's OK. And then they'll play tetris with suitcases until everything fits.
I know which one I prefer.
