eZ Components 2007.2alpha1
We've just released the first alpha version of the new eZ Components release, for which the full version is due to be released somewhere next month. There are two new components, but also many improvements to existing components. The new components are:
Tree, which handles the creating, manipulating and querying of tree structures. The component supports different storage algorithms for optimal performance. There are two tieins for this component, TreeDatabaseTiein, providing functionality to store tree-data in a database, and TreePersistentObjectTiein, providing data storage in the form of persistent objects.
Webdav, which allows you to set up and run your own WebDAV (RFC 2518) server, to enable online content editing for the users of your system through the WebDAV HTTP extension.

If you're in London (or Southern England) the ISS is going to make a fly over pass between 23:30 and 23:40 (a little earlier for West of London).
If you're further North than London, the ISS shows further South.
Almost straight overhead. It's going to be bright.

But I think my favourite photo was of this Carrion Crow in flight.
The new birds I saw, were mostly too far away to get good photos.
But I saw my first Spoonbill, Corn Bunting, and a flock of Black-tailed Godwits.
I had a lovely walk around RSPB Bowers Marsh yesterday, where I saw some expected birds, and a bunch of new species.
When I got there, there was this welcome committee of Starlings.
